Aboutrika Shirt Can Get you Arrested at Cairo Stadium!!

The Egyptian authorities have arrested a fan who entered the Cairo stadium wearing a shirt exhibiting the name of former star Mohamed Aboutrika, whom the Egyptian regime accuses of supporting and financing a terrorist organization, but is supported by millions of fans in his country.

The security personnel arrested a young man wearing a shirt with the name of the former star of Ahli and No. 22 and prevented him from entering the stadium before the opening match of the African Nations Cup between Egypt and Zimbabwe.

Knowing that the Egyptian media has stepped up the attack on Abu Trika in recent days after publishing scorn in which the former President Mohamed Morsi was denounced and described as a terrorist. The Egyptian public met these attacks with support campaigns.

Egyptian authorities have warned fans not to carry any political slogans and put AbouTrika name on the taboo list during the tight security measures at Cairo Stadium, which opened after nearly three years of closing. A large number of surveillance cameras were installed to monitor suspicious behavior.
