Because of US Open … Nadal miss Asia

Nadal and The china Open

World number one Rafael Nadal has decided not to play in Beijing and Shanghai because of injury in his right knee, paving the way for his rivals to win the competition and raising their world rankings for tennis.

“Everyone knows that I had to withdraw from the semi-finals of the United States, and I was in Barcelona with the doctors who were watching my knee, which I still suffer from,” said Rafael Nadal, through his official social account Twitter.

“I have decided with my medical and technical team not to participate in the Asian round, so I can recover from my injury, the way we have always done,” said Rafael Nadal.

“I am sorry for not being able to meet many of my fans in China, as well as the Beijing and Shanghai organizers, who are very interested in me and my team,” said world number one Rafael Nadal.

Rafael Nadal is suffering from the injury he suffered during the semi-finals of the US Open against Argentine Juan Martin del Potro, as he fell on the pitch and announced his withdrawal from the meeting he lost.

Nadal will lose 1100 points last year at the Beijing championships, and Shanghai, where he lost the final, is not threatened by losing his world ranking because he has 1860 points ahead of Roger Federer, who will have to defend 1,000 points from his win in Shanghai.
