Italian wrestler Christian Daghio took his last breath after being hit by lightning punches during his fight over the title of the World Championship in Thai wrestling.
The Italian wrestler has faced Don Parueang to compete for the title of the world championships that Daghio has won on seven previous occasions.
During the last round of the fight, Barwang drew a series of punches to his opponent and knocked him down.
The 49-year-old Italian wrestler was taken to the hospital for an examination, but died on Friday after a week of coma.
The incident raises more questions about violent sports and the losses they cause, which requires a deep reflection on the possibility of reviewing the rules of the game.

@WBCBoxing @wbcmoro This is one of the most disgraceful things to happen in boxing for some time. While Christian Daghio lay unconscious and dying in the ring being attended by medical staff your officials conduct the belt and victory ceremony. Utterly disgraceful conduct! pic.twitter.com/ow9LecDreV
