FIFA: Jérôme Valcke Excessive use of Private Jets!

According to the Court of arbitration sports “CAS” in Lausanne, Switzerland, the former secretary general of the International Federation of Football “FIFA ” French Jérôme Valcke, who is in prison, 10 years for corruption, reported and his family to use flights through private planes.

Between January 2012 and September 2013, the cost of using influential officials in the “FIFA ” for flights through private planes amounted $9.7 million dollars, “9, 9 million euros”.

According to the “CAS”, which conveyed an internal management note about FIFA, addressed to the French Jérôme Valcke, the request includes a mechanism to find solutions “alternative and cheaper.”

During his time as Secretary-General of the International Federation, Valcke was registered with four flights that were not part of the FIFA travel policy, as the use of the private jet did not meet safety requirements or reduce costs, and Valcke was accompanied by members of his family at the expense of FIFA.

In September 2012,  Valcke, who was the right arm of former president and detainee Joseph Blatter, while in New Delhi, India, paid a visit to the Taj Mahal, accompanied by his wife and one daughter, at the expense of FIFA.

In July 2015, he moved a private jet to the Russian city of St. Petersburg to participate in a meeting of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the Russia World Cup finals, and to participate in the draw-down process of the playoffs, accompanied by his wife, daughter, sons, and nanny.

Before heading to St. Petersburg, The son of Valcke Sebastian boarded a plane from the Brazilian city São Paulo to the Swiss city of Zurich, On the business class and on the FIFA account.

The costs for this trip to St. Petersburg with its branching were estimated at approximately  71,699 USD by FIFA and were not deducted from the monthly salary of Jérôme Valcke.
