A New Achievement for the Saint Iker Casillas

Iker Casillas new achievement

Spanish goalkeeper Iker Casillas scored a new achievement in the Champions League after Tuesday’s match against Porto in front of Schalke 04.

The 37-year-old has become the first player in history to take part in 20 consecutive Champions League matches after making a major entry into Porto in the first round of Group D of the club’s most expensive tournament.

This match is the number 168 for Casillas in this continental competition.

Casillas began his career in the Champions League with his former club Real Madrid in the 1999-2000 season and was the youngest player to win the title of the competition, and was crowned three times with the Royal Club in 2000, 2002, 2014.

Iker Casillas was forced to leave Real Madrid in the summer of 2015 towards FC Porto.

Casillas won five league titles in the league and three titles in the Champions League. He also won the Spanish national team’s Euro 2008 and 2012 World Cup titles.
