Juventus Draw Up a Plan for “After Ronaldo”

Juventus chose Cristiano Ronaldo to be the cornerstone of his new project since 2018, which aims to crown the Champions League title, but the Italian champion is preparing for a future stage, after the departure of the Portuguese star.

The Spanish website, “Diario Gol“, stated that Paris Saint-Germain is currently negotiating with Ronaldo agent Jorge Mendes to include the El Don “The Don”, at a stage that may be the last in his career.

Ronaldo’s contract with the “old lady” extends to 2022, and St. Germain wants the Portuguese to be the best alternative to the Brazilian Neymar da Silva who wants to return to Barcelona, and fulfill the dream of French star Kylian Mbappe, playing next to his ideal.

Ronaldo helped Juventus team to increase its financial profits, in addition to continuing its local dominance, but it lacks the Champions League title to complete its success story in Italy.

Calcio Mercato, the Italian website, mentioned that Juventus is aware of Saint-Germain’s contacts with Ronaldo’s agent, and he is aware that the 35-year-old will not last for long in Turin, so he is preparing for a new project without him.

The next project will require enormous financial sacrifice, and relying on a leader like Neymar or Mbappe, despite the difficulty of contracting with either of them in light of the aspirations of Barcelona and Real Madrid.

And due to the huge financial losses caused by the outbreak of the Coronavirus, speculation indicates that the next Mercato deals will not exceed 100 million euros, which may facilitate the “Juve” competition to include the most expensive players.
