Kimi Räikkönen Delays Lewis Hamilton’s Crowning

Ferrari driver, Kimi Räikkönen, delayed the coronation of the British Lewis Hamilton and gave him a chance to resolve his fifth title at the F1 World Racing Championship, after winning the United States Grand Prix, the 18th stage of the tournament on Sunday.

Britishman Lewis Hamilton was forced to wait for his fifth title after the Mercedes driver finished third, leaving Red Bull’s Dutch driver Max Verstappen, while German Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel finished fourth.

The first win of Kimi Räikkönen for almost five years, and since March 2013, while Hamilton needed to score eight points more than Vettel in the race to ensure his title.

But he was able to add only three points to the lead of the overall order, to make the difference from Vettel 70 points before Three stages of the end of the tournament.

The Dutchman, Max Verstappen, came in second place despite the start of the 18th place. Vettel, the only rival Hamilton title, finished fourth, meaning that the competition will continue during the Mexico Grand Prix next week.
