Nasser Al-Attiyah Won the Moroccan Rally for the Fifth Time

Qatari driver Nasser Al-Attiyah crowned a champion of the Moroccan desert rally “Cross country ” after he was issued for the final general classification of the drivers. while his fellow driver Adel Hussain took the category “T2” after he finished third in the rally.

Al-Attiyah crowned with his French sailor Matthieu Bommel on the Toyota Hilux, finishing first at the end of the five stages with a total of 16.28.38 hours, 26.71 minutes ahead of his nearest rival, the Polish driver Jakub Przygonski, who came second in 16.55.09 hours.

The Qatari driver presented a model in the successful tactic and strategy, to win the title of the rally for the fifth time, defending his title by winning the stage of the review, and then kept his lead for the general arrangement, after occupying second place in the first stage,

Before strengthening his lead again by winning the second phase, then he preserves his lead after the second in the third and fourth phases, and finally, in the fifth and final stage after guarantee, the title he ended the phase without problems in the seventh place.


The Qatari driver Nasser Al-Attiyah, who withdrew earlier in the world championships due to the repetition of technical problems in his car, benefited from his participation in the Rally of Morocco, in which he participated in the program to prepare for the competitions of the Dakar International Rally scheduled in next January.
