Frenchman Pauline Parmentier made her second title this year when she beat American Jessica Pegula of the qualifiers to win the Quebec Women’s Tennis Championship.

Parmentier, eighth in the standings, faced five big saves from Peugeot and got half of her second point of contention for her fourth title.

Her first title of the season was at Istanbul in April.

The Frenchwoman also saved three of her four points to break, while breaking four times.

Pegula, who is aiming for her first title, broke her opponent to a 3-1 lead in the first set before Pauline Parmentier pulled up.

When the score was 5-5, Pegula saved two points to break the game and the second was a thrilling shot before Parmentier succeeded in the third attempt with a successful 6-5 lead.

When she was sent to the first group to be settled, the French player was relegated from zero to 30 to score four consecutive points to win the group thanks to a successful front kick.

Parmentier advanced 4-0 in Group B and won the match when she sent the score 5-2.
