Real Madrid Get Rid of The “Extra Player” André Lunin
MADRID (Reuters) – Real Madrid goalkeeper André Lunin, 19, who joined him in June, has been loaned to legianis in a suburb of the Spanish capital until the end of the season.
“Real Madrid and legianis have reached an agreement on the loan for the current season,” Real said in a statement on its official website.
The departure of the young Ukrainian goalkeeper from the Royal Club is logical at the moment, a move that will ease the players who occupy the center. The number of goalkeepers in Real Madrid reached 5 this summer after the inclusion of Belgian Tibo Cortua of Chelsea for 35 million euros.
Coach Luca Zidane, the second son of his predecessor Zinedine Zidane, will return to the return squad after last season’s third-choice goalkeeper and play his first game in Liga in May.
Without Lunin and Luca, Lopetigui will rely on 3 goalkeepers, Costa Rican Keylor Navas, Courtois and Kiko Cassia.
