Ronaldo’s Madeira Scissor is the Best in Europe

Madeira Scissor goal

Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo voted as the best player of the season by the European Football Association (UEFA) on Tuesday.

The Don won the vote from a double-shot by former Real Madrid in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Ronaldo’s “Madeira Scissor” goal was the highest, with 200,000 votes out of a total of 346,915.

Ronaldo took the title from Juventus’s Mario Mandzukic, who was crowned the winner of the previous season’s goal against Real Madrid in the Champions League final.

Barcelona’s Lionel Messi was crowned with the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 awards.

UEFA technical observers said the goal was an “extraordinary review of technical capabilities.” Ronaldo continued to lead the Real to qualify for the final and win the championship for the third season in a row.

Second-placed Marseille’s Dimitri Peye scored in the Champions League with 35,558 votes.

While third-placed Eva Navarro scored in the final of the European U-17 Women’s Championship, with 23,315 votes.
